The W.K. Jackson Leadership Academy proudly recognizes Mr. Rashawn Mance as our Teacher of the Month. Mr. Mance continues to demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, character development, and student success. His classroom is a place where learning is elevated, confidence is strengthened, and students are inspired daily to strive for greatness.
Mr. Mance’s approach to teaching combines high expectations with genuine care. He challenges his students to think critically, engage collaboratively, and believe in their own potential. Through intentional planning, consistent feedback, and strong instructional routines, he has helped students make notable gains in foundational reading and mathematics skills.
Beyond academics, Mr. Mance serves as a role model—teaching leadership by example, celebrating effort, encouraging curiosity, and reinforcing the principles of respect and responsibility.
Because of his passion, patience, and persistence, students in his classroom are not only learning more, they are becoming more.
